The General Union of Palestine Students - GUPS @ CCNY commemorates the 61st anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba (Catastrophe), where more than 800,000 Palestinians were expelled from their towns, and more than 530 towns were destroyed.

Join GUPS on the following days to know and learn more about the Palestinian/Israeli conflict:

Presentation by Mauri’ Saalakhan, peace activist and writer of  “The Palestinians' Holocaust: American Perspectives”

           

Wednesday, May 6th   12-5pm                           NAC 1/211

TWO-time screening: 12-2pm  and  3-5pm  

Documentary Screening “Occupation 101” Award-winning documentary film on the root causes of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.                       

Followed by a discussion

 

Thursday, May 7th   -  12:30                            Hoffman Lounge
